Skies

We get some fabulous skies here.  Look at these:

I only wish I could take photos that worked of the night skies.  There's absolutely no light pollution - I have no idea where the nearest street light might be - and when there's a clear sky with no moon, the starts are just wonderful.  If it's a full moon we get amazing moon shadows - it's bright enough to go for a walk and see what's around, in that strange dark colourless way.  Quite magical.
