Everyone was an expert of course, but we managed to get it right anyway! The bread this time was much better, the potatoes and onions were good (thanks Claire for the scrummy garlic butter!), but the pizza and scones were probably the highlights. The French don't have scones, so were intrigued, and tasted them, then scoffed the lot! Oliver's wife brought an apple and pear tart to cook which I'm sure was delicious but there were so many people for it to go around that some of us never got a taste! Even the postman stopped for a Ricard, and delivered most of his post while he was there!
Mutterings were heard in the English camp however with phrases such as '...well next time, what we need to do is...'
So watch this space...
